Gleipnir Art Director Yuka Okamoto, Composer Ryōhei Sataka Join PINE JAM Original Anime
Kodoani.com – Avex Pictures posted the first trailer and character image for the original PINE JAM studio anime titled Do It Yourself !! on Thursday. The video introduces the characters (without disclosing their voices), and also announces additional staff members and a 2022 premiere for the anime.
New image featuring main characters Shii and Jobko:
Yuka Okamoto (Gleipnir, Princess Resurrection) is directing the art, and Ryōhei Sataka (Gleipnir, Pucchimiku D4DJ Petit Mix, Release the Spyce) by Hifumi, inc. compose.
Construction materials manufacturer Takagi is the “official partner” and the city of Sanjō, Niigata Prefecture, Takagi’s hometown, is the “official supporter.”
The anime follows the daily lives of six high school girls as they face the difficulties of doing DIY projects in the city of Sanjō, western Japan.
The main characters are:
Kurei, a third year high school student, is the president of the DIY club
Takumi, a timid girl, hesitates before speaking and thus misses her hints in conversations.
Serufu, an easygoing first year high school student raised in a house with few rules
Purin, a first year high school student living near Serufu and her childhood friend
Jobko, an excellent 12-year-old exchange student, failed a few classes to attend high school.
Shii, a spiritual girl who attends the same elite school as Purin
Kazuhiro Yoneda will direct the anime at PINE JAM .
Kazuyuki Fudeyasu is both writing and supervising the series scripts, and Yusuke Matsuo is the character designer. IMAGO and Avex Pictures are credited with original work.
