Kodoani.com – With the first part of the anime duo Sailor Moon Cosmos Coming to Japanese theaters this Friday, the official YouTube channel has brought the Dark Moon arc as a flashback video looking back at the first films in the Sailor Moon Crystal– two-part Sailor Moon Eternal.
Tomoya Takahashi directed both seasons of Sailor Moon Cosmos at both Toei Animation and Studio Deen. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu wrote the script, while Kazuko Tadano once again returned to design the characters. Yasuharu Takanashi will again produce the film’s music, with Yumiko Kuga from Studio Jack serving as the film’s art director.
Sailor Moon Cosmos will adapt the “final battle” from Naoko Takeuchi’s main manga, which was previously adapted into the final season of the Sailor Moon anime called “Sailor Moon Sailor Stars.” Cosmos’ first anime movie released on June 9 while the second part hits theaters on June 30.
Cosmos continues from the two-part film Sailor Moon Eternal, which was released in early 2021 in Japan and on Netflix on June 3 worldwide. Eternal continues the Sailor Moon Crystal television anime series.
