Berserk Chapter 367 Summary
This chapter picks up where the last part ended when Zodd and Guts fought. As Danan, Isidro, Isma, and Serpico, all of whom had just finished their marzipan quests, watched the fight between the two, the first prevented Griffith from approaching the latter. After that, Danan started to shiver, and right after that, she fell down from weakness. She told us that all will be lost and many dangers will appear when they depart.
As the focus shifted back to Elfhelm’s giant cherry tree, Guts and company began handing out their flowers. Griffith approaches the unconscious Casca, causing Guts to run past Zodd and attempt to assassinate his first friend again. Elfhelm’s great cherry tree was almost completely filled with cherry blossoms, and the earth was beginning to split across the whole of Skellig. This separates Guts from Griffith, Casca, and Zodd, who appear to be preparing to leave the island with Casca captured. Raw scanned images for Berserk Chap 368 was posted on Twitter. They appear to depict Griffith and the Hawk’s Reborn Band being attacked by other forces. According to the first image posted, the Skull Knight appears to be rescuing Isidro and Isma from Elfhelm, possibly with Schierke, but he does not appear. Before the Skull Knight appeared, Isidro and Isma were surrounded by enemies, as the former was wielding both his dagger and his sword. There is also an image posted that shows the Black Swordsman surrounded by flaming blobs that look like ghosts rising from the ground of Elfhelm. They might be whispering something to the Black Swordsman.
The next scene shows Casca reaching for Guts, looking tired and sad, as Griffith appears to be carrying her away from Elfhelm. Her state here appears to be hazy or unconscious, indicating a return to her dissociated state (although this is possible). Roderick and his crew are surrounded by the aforementioned viscous black spots in the post. After being devoured by the blobs, the crew members reappear as zombie-like creatures with most of their flesh stripped away. Griffith’s presence would be even more believable if the zombies obeyed his and Zodd’s orders. He became the Skull Knight after passing through Elfhelm and fighting the three blobs in the previous post. The Skull Knight’s success is reflected in this panel in each withering blob.
