The future of the series is unknown going forward but if this is where it ends this last chapter seems to be a good place. While part of me wishes their apprentice would continue I’m content with this. pic.twitter.com/PXF0camoCY

While fans are still divided on the topic of whether the series should continue or not, the general consensus on Chapter 364 is that, if it is indeed the final chapter of the series, it is an ending. A fitting and emotional ending to Guts’ long journey.
While publisher Hakusensha says there is “no announcement” to make at this point regarding the future of the series, rumors continue to persist that the manga could continue under a new author, possibly is one of Miura’s assistants. Fan reaction to this possible continuation remains mixed: some wanted to see a clearer ending to Guts and Casca’s story, while most considered Berserk the work of an artist, and the series simply wouldn’t be the same without Miura’s intricate artwork and his unique vision driving the story.
Young Animal also announced that it will be republishing Ou-Roh , the manga that Miura worked on just a few months before Berserk premiered. Miura created the artwork for the series, written by Buronson, the author of the influential Fist of the North Star.
