New modes including online multiplayer functionality are currently being rolled out
Kodoani.com – Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, a game developed by Koji Igarashi, has become one of the monuments of the gothic action game genre, continuing the spirit of the Castlevania series. The game appeared in June 2019 after a successful Kickstarter campaign, and the game continues to be updated and developed.
Recently, the ArtPlay team announced the development of two new modes for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, which are VS mode and Chaos mode. What’s special is that these are the first modes in this gothic action game series to support multiplayer. However, according to the official Kickstarter announcement, the implementation of the online function has encountered some challenges and delays. The development team is still working to perfect them.
In addition to these two new modes, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will also include Classic Mode 2 and new skins as paid DLC.
More details about the new modes will be revealed on September 14. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is currently available on multiple platforms such as PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS and Android.
