Kodoani.com – Magazine Weekly Shonen Jump No. 47 of Shueisha revealed on Monday that the popular manga Blue Box belong to Koji Miura will be adapted into a novel titled Clothes in Hako Prologue (Blue Box Prologue). The novel is scheduled to be released on December 4 and written by both Miura and Didwith content focusing on the stories of the characters before the main plot of the manga takes place.
Blue Box Manga Development History
Koji Miura debut Blue Box as a one-shot manga above Weekly Shonen Jump in 2020. The manga then began serialization in April 2021. The series quickly gained popularity, and to date Shueisha published 17th episode on the day October 4. Viz Media also published 12th episode of manga on date October 1. Currently, Blue Box has sold more 5 million copies.
Blue Box Storyline
Blue Box revolves around the story of Taiki Inomatamember of the high school men's badminton team Eimeiand his love affair with Chinatsu Kanoan older female student and basketball star that he practices with every morning. One day, their relationship takes a major turning point, opening up a fresh and touching story about love, sports and youth.
Anime Adaptation
Manga series Blue Box has been adapted into anime and began broadcasting in Japan on the same day October 3. Netflix currently streaming this anime as it airs. The anime series is expected to last for two consecutive courses (half a year), allowing fans to experience the emotional and sports-filled story of Blue Box.
