Blue Exorcist: Shimane Illuminati Saga (Part 3) revealed its version without the opening and ending today, after airing its second episode. UVERworld returns for the third season of the beloved series with the opening song “Eye Sentry”:

Studio VOLN is producing a sequel, directed by Daisuke Yoshida. Toshiya Oono is in charge of writing the series, while Yurie Ohigashi is named as the character designer and chief animation director. Kohta Yamamoto and Hiroyuki Sawano are composing the music. Mulsasaki Ima will sing the ending theme song titled “Gakkyu Nisshi”:

The Blue Exorcist anime is based on the manga by Kazue Katou. It began being serialized in Jump Square magazine in 2009. The first season of the anime debuted in spring 2011, but it contains the anime’s original final arc (episodes 16-25). In 2012, the movie Blue Exorcist Movie was also released. Season 2 titled Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga aired in Winter 2017. It skipped the anime-only arc from the prequel and continued adapting the manga’s plot. A side story titled Blue Exorcist: Kuro’s Trip Away From Home also exists, along with a 2-episode OVA from season 2. A-1 Pictures animated the entire film adaptation. The main cast includes:
