A sequel to the series, which will take on the Big Apple, has been confirmed through this week’s issue of Big Comic and is scheduled to begin July 25 in the same magazine.

The editor and story director of Blue Giant, who also wrote the anime series inspired by the series, Number 8 returns in the role for the sequel to the Blue Giant saga.
This will be the fourth installment of Blue Giant, with the first part premiering on Big Comic on May 10, 2013 and running until August 25, 2016. The second part, Blue Giant Supreme, released on May 10, 2016. September 10, 2016 to April 25, 2020, with a third season, Blue Giant Explorer, showing from May 25, 2020 to May 10, 2023. All three seasons together have been in print (actual copy) ) and cumulative (digital) sales of over 11 million copies.
