Summary
Boruto’s quick defeat of Code made him extremely powerful, it was difficult for anyone to match his strength, so he needed a truly threatening villain. Daemon has demonstrated unprecedented levels of power, with his superior strength, speed, and ability to redirect his attacks making him a formidable opponent surpassing even Ishikki and Naruto. Daemon’s recognition and understanding of Boruto’s Uzuhiko technique highlighted his power and set the stage for him to become the main villain once Code was no longer a threat.
Latest chapter of Boruto: Two blue tornadoes has teased who could be the franchise’s next big villain, and it’s not the character fans expected to take on that role any time soon. After witnessing Boruto’s current power, it seems that neither Code nor Kawaki can match his power. However, Daemon has proven to possess unprecedented power and he may be just the opponent Boruto needs.
After Boruto brutally and humiliatingly defeated Code, few people could match Boruto in strength, especially with his Uzuhiko Rasengan. The only person that comes to mind is the mischievous boy Daemon. With his incredible and mysterious powers, he is the only serious challenge to the protagonist at the moment. Daemon has been sidelined for too long and Boruto Season 2 could give him time to shine.
As soon as Boruto used Rasengan Uzuhiko, Daemon realized where the tremor came from and how the technique worked. This small part of the chapter reminds fans just how powerful and formidable Daemon is. It also sets the stage for him to become the new villain when Code is too weak.
Boruto’s new villain could be the strongest ever
Daemon and Eida are robots created by Amado to defeat Ishikki but were locked up by Boro when told to destroy them because they were too strong and dangerous. They were then freed by Code to ally with them, which they did, but later betrayed him and went to live in Hidden Leaf Village. The only reason the Revenge Code didn’t try to get them back for stabbing him in the back was because of Daemon’s ridiculous power. The first confrontation between the two ended in an embarrassing defeat for Code and even with the limiter removed, he still could not come close to Daemon’s power.
Daemons are not only extremely powerful and fast, but they also have one of the most terrifying abilities in the series. The Daemon can redirect an opponent’s attacks back at them, and this automatically activates when someone thinks of hurting the Daemon. Like the Omnipotence that his sister Eida possesses, Daemon’s power was created by Amado, imitating the divine abilities of the Otsutsuki god, Shibai. The only caveat to this ability is that the Daemon must touch the person attacking him, making him vulnerable to ranged attacks. However, with Daemon’s speed and raw power, this is not a problem. Even Amado said that when it comes to fighting, Daemon is stronger than Ishikki and Naruto.
Daemon will be the first test of Boruto’s new power
Boruto is now stronger than ever and he defeated Code in his strongest form without using Karma. With his two main opponents from Part 1, Code and Kawaki, now overwhelmed by Boruto, the series needs to establish a new threat for the main character as soon as possible. Daemon’s introduction earlier in the series caused quite a stir due to his overpowering abilities, so it would only be fitting to see him play a larger role in the story now. Consider how amazing and impressive it is Boruto after his return, he deserves a dangerous villain who can pose a real threat to him, and Daemon check all the boxes.
