Ryoma successfully established his second branch in Episode 4 of By the Grace of the Gods, so what can he risk doing next?

By the Grace of the Gods Always aim to enjoy life to the fullest. Its protagonist, Ryoma, spent the first days of his new fantasy world researching slimes and their abilities. Even after being discovered by the inhabitants of the aforementioned world and brought into civilization, Ryoma continued his leisurely lifestyle. And now, he has successfully opened his second laundromat. The question is how will he proceed from here on out?
Ryoma spent most of the first season exploring the abilities of the slimes. That’s how he discovered the many slime variants and their different abilities. That is also how he managed to develop a convenient business – a laundromat. He uses cleaning slime to provide top-notch laundry service and it’s proven to work. He managed to make a name for himself by the end of Season 1. It was initially assumed that the second season would focus more on his second store, but that goal was accomplished only after four episodes.
Ryoma is proving to be a very capable businessman
While trying to establish his second branch, Ryoma decided to try adventure. He was first registered as an E rank adventurer because he was just getting started. Although status is Ryoma’s least preferred thing, it also has some problems. The type of quests he can accept is quite limited, most of which include relatively boring tasks like gathering herbs. But since there was nothing better to do, Ryoma accepted the quest anyway. That’s when he met a few other adventurers being targeted by the Smash Boar. Ryoma entered and easily defeated the monster.
Ryoma then proceeded to drain the boar’s blood and bring it to the city. After resolving the misunderstanding with the Adventurer’s Guild and selling clean meat, Ryoma prepares for his big day. His equipment and staff finally arrived the next day. They immediately went to work and smoothly established the second branch. After making sure it was working properly, Ryoma continued on his way.
What’s next for Ryoma?
The second store meeting was no surprise. After all, Ryoma only left it after a day or two. This makes one wonder how the anime intends to progress the story. The latter part of episode 4 may be holding the answer to that. In the bumper, Ryoma meets someone who tells him about the Magic Item Market. These magic items are essentially inventions that integrate magic with technological advancements and the toy car is a perfect example of this.
Given Ryoma’s natural curiosity and desire to invent, it is highly likely that he will proceed with the said event. He will either go with the person who told him about it or proceed on his own. If he did, he would definitely try to learn as much as possible about magical items. He’ll probably make a few of them, too, and he might even integrate his new inventions into his laundry business. And so, the day that washing machines were introduced into the world By the Grace of the Gods may be approaching.
