As part of its annual financial report, Capcom confirmed that fiscal year 2023 will see a significant increase in new game releases.

While it’s unclear if Capcom will ever regain its pre-2020 position, it does, however, predict unit sales will grow by more than 40% from the first year of the company. Translate. In fiscal year 2020, Capcom released 35 new titles. In 2021, that number drops to 14. In 2022, it’s 24. All of these lower numbers are due to the COVID-19 pandemic increasing the amount of time required for all areas of game development. By 2023, Capcom plans to publish 45 new titles.
As for what Capcom plans to offer in 2023, a new release confirmed right now is Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, an expansion for PC/Switch RPG. Possibilities include the recently announced co-op multiplayer game Exoprimal, the Capcom fighting game Collection, and the sci-fi action adventure game Pragmata. Resident Evil Village DLC is also in development.
