An impressive new video (below) and key image (above) have been published for CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD will+Dress Season 3, an anime adaptation based on Bushiroad’s card battle multimedia franchise. The latest season premieres on Japanese television on July 8, 2023, and will air on the TV Tokyo Network on Saturdays in the 8:00 a.m. time slot.
CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD will+Dress Season 3 is directed by Ryutaro Suzuki and animated by Kinema Citrus, Gift Animation and STUDIO JEMI.
Third-year high school student Yu-yu Kondo lives in the city of Kanazawa in the country of Kaga. Unable to refuse small requests, Yu-yu often gets caught up in her sister’s hobby.
When Yu-yu couldn’t take it anymore and ran away from home, he was saved by Megumi Okura. Megumi invites Yu-yu to “Wonder Hill” Night Theme Park, where her friends gather.
The amusement park is home to many youths of the Vanguard group as the center of “Team Blackout”.
And this is how Yu-yu met Vanguard and was drawn to Vanguard’s charm as well as the world and friends he had never met before.
