Aniplex, Acquire released a visual novel series for Switch and PC in English this year
Kodoani.com – Aniplex and Acquire kicked off the special event on Saturday by airing the music video for their novel, “Hookah Haze”. The video introduces the song “Hookah, whoo!” by Nakuru Aitsuki, produced and written by DECO*27, with composition and arrangement by Tepe. The song will officially launch on online streaming platforms on April 27.
Additionally, Aniplex and Acquire will also release visual novels for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam in 2024, with text translated into Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and English.
The visual novel story is about a “dramatic human adventure” portrayed by Toru Sumiki, an inexperienced person who takes a job managing Hookah Haze, a new hookah bar on the outskirts of Akihabara, where he meets three eccentric girls. The connection between them is shown through their common passion for hookah, opening a story full of mystery and intrigue.
