At the same time, manga Torikae Baya of Saitō is getting a new one-shot manga, scheduled to appear in the magazine’s May issue on March 28. Her new manga will begin serialization in the magazine’s August issue on June 28 However, the magazine has not revealed the title of the new manga.
Saitō’s Kaguyaden manga offers a new perspective on the “Princess Kaguya” story, in which a daring girl confronts her fate on her own to discover the truth behind the events of “15 Bloody Nights” and the mystery behind her beloved brother’s death.
Beginning to appear in Monthly Flowers magazine in April 2018, the manga quickly attracted attention. The first volume of the manga was published by Shogakukan in October 2018, and the 14th and final volume will be released on March 8.
Manga Torikae Baya by Saito, which appeared in Monthly Flowers from July 2012 to November 2017, is also a notable work in the author’s career.
The Be-PaPas team, which includes Chiho Saito, Yoji Enokido, Shinya Hasegawa, Kunihiko Ikuhara and Yūichirō Oguro, co-created the manga and anime Revolution Girl Utena. The manga debuted in Shogakukan’s Ciao magazine in 1996 and was published by Shogakukan in five compiled volumes.
The manga’s three chapters per volume have been compiled into volumes Shojo Kakumei Utena: After the Revolutionreleased in Japan in May 2018, and is receiving special attention from readers.
