Officially opened and welcomed the first guests on May 26, 2014, Dong Chi Airport is the first airport of Phu Vien.
The name “the most leisurely airport” comes from the fact that this airport serves only 1 aircraft all day, and there are only 2 routes operated by it:
Route: Fuyuan – Harbin – Shanghai on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, ie 4 times a week
Route: Fuyuan – Harbin – Beijing on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
Although equipped with 4 runways, the whole day the airport only has 1 aircraft in operation, so it is called by the name “leisure”.
And yet, not only is there “the most leisurely airport” but the airport staff is also the “most leisurely”. Because there is only 1 plane all day, their job must be said to be extremely simple: the plane lands, picks up passengers, maintains, cleans the plane, passengers board, .. all. When the flight took off, the staff at the airport finished their work.
Even if it’s not during peak times like tourist season or festivals, airport staff can say “play all day”.
But do not underestimate the facilities of this airport just because of the modest number of passengers. The airport is equipped with a VIP lounge, a large dining room, restrooms, a reception desk, essential services, etc., which are very professionally and fully equipped. The airport even has a dedicated lounge for mothers with young children or babies.
Great place to watch the sunrise
Located in the easternmost part of China, Fuyuan city is promoting tourism organization to exploit its geographical potential.
However, there are quite a few flights here, leading to many difficulties in tourism development. Accompanying that is the beautiful scenery of Phu Vien which is still quite rudimentary, the traffic is difficult, … That’s why the cost of travel here is very cheap.
Looking the other way, the cost of travel, cheap airfares, primitive scenery, etc. are ideal conditions for those who love to explore.
It can be said that Fuyuan is the first city to welcome the sun in China. In the summer, the dawn of the city comes from 2 am, the air is fresh, the sun is light and the wind is cool, watching the sunrise from afar is a great experience for visitors.
When traveling to Phu Vien, you cannot ignore Auto Town. It has all kinds of nature exploration such as climbing, watching the sunrise in the morning or enjoying the white snow in the cold season.
