Staff involved with the upcoming Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture anime promise a nostalgic return to the series’ peak in the mid- and late 2000s.
Voice actor Makoto Furukawa will play Ash, Rozé’s co-protagonist in Recapture, and teased that the upcoming series will capture the essence of the original Code Geass anime. “As a result, the excitement I felt watching Code Geass back then can be felt through the visuals, music and production,” Furukawa said. “I hope this will be a work that stays in everyone’s hearts for a long time.” These comments were made at Lelouch’s special birthday event, where the trailer was first revealed.
