Kodoani.com – Official Twitter account of the magazine Comic Heaven of Nihonbungeisha revealed on August 9 that the magazine will move to a monthly calendar starting in March 2023, celebrating its 10th anniversary. Nihonbungeisha launched the manga in August 2012 as a bimonthly magazine (new issue every two months).
The seinen magazine is a spin-off of Nihonbungeisha’s weekly Manga Goraku magazine, and publishes a new issue every even-numbered month. It is the successor to Weekly Manga Goraku’s previous Sakura Hearts supplement magazine. That spin-off came out in 2010, with the same two-month schedule as Comic Heaven, and featured a moe-themed series. Sakura Hearts ended in April 2012, and Comic Heaven premiered in August of the same year.
The magazine has serialized manga adaptations of the Azur Lane anime since December 2019.
