Cowboy Bebop has an exciting new trailer for its Overwatch 2 collaboration, which closely references Shinichiro Watanabe's iconic 1998 opening theme.
Inspired by Spike Spiegel's bounty hunter outfit, the blue and yellow main dial is accented by luminous hands and hour markers, along with the anime's logo engraved below the 12 o'clock mark. The hour and minute hands are inspired by the Bebop spaceship, while the tail of the chronograph hand is designed after the red Swordfish II racing car built by Doohan. Even the calendar marker makes an appropriate reference to the anime's 25th anniversary: an icon of Spike's Jericho 941 R pistol is placed as the visible marker for the 25th of the month. The side case has the episode number engraved, which is also the watch's serial number.
