Anime streaming giant Crunchyroll is returning to New York Comic Con 2023 with lots of exclusive gifts for fans of One Piece, My Hero Academia, Dr. Stone, etc.
According to Crunchyroll, the San Francisco-based anime streaming service will attend this year’s New York Comic Con at the Javits Center. The event, which will be held from October 12 to 15, will feature various premieres from the world’s biggest anime series. My Hero Academia special screening will be shown at NYCC. One Piece fans will enjoy a new English dub episode and hear the voices from the English voice cast of the series’ most memorable villains. Dr. Stone Season 3, Season 2 will also premiere in the US ahead of its fall release.
Additionally, Crunchyroll will be showing episodes of A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special — including the exclusive premiere of Episode 3. The Crunchyroll Store will also be on the runway as booth location 1653. Booth retail will display more than 50 anime items, some of which are exclusives. Items include an Attack on Titan themed watch featuring Eren and Levi; a Chainsaw Man Pochita Otaku lamp; a new Funko Pop Trigun featuring Vash and Kuroneko; and the Sparkling Edition of Sailor Moon FiGPiN.
Comic Con attendees in New York will be able to use digital kiosks to snap anime-themed snapshots from series like One Piece, My Hero Academia, and Goblin Slayer II. At the second booth (#1643), Crunchyroll will be handing out Jujutsu Kaisen photo cards, posters for Solo Leveling and A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special, as well as temporary Hanako-kun tattoos after school. Anime fans can also join The Jujutsu Kaisen Experience to immerse themselves in Gege Akutami’s popular dark fantasy series.
