Kodoani.com – Sailor Guardians lineup expands with leaps and bounds in Sailor Moon Cosmos, with beautiful girls coming from all over the universe to join the fight. The latest clip for the upcoming two-movie event will be a nostalgic promo for longtime fans, as it showcases both Chibi Chibi and Princess Kakyuu.
The two characters play important roles in both the manga and anime’s Sailor Stars.
As previously announced, Sailor Kakyuu will be played by Nana Mizuki (Hinata in Naruto). Kotono Mitsuishi will once again take on two roles, taking on her dual roles as Sailor Moon and Chibi Chibi.
Tomoya Takahashi will direct both seasons of Sailor Moon Cosmos at both Toei Animation and Studio Deen. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu wrote the script, while Kazuko Tadano once again returned to design the characters. Yasuharu Takanashi will again produce the film’s music, with Yumiko Kuga from Studio Jack serving as the film’s art director.
Sailor Moon Cosmos will adapt the “final battle” from Naoko Takeuchi’s manga, which was previously adapted into the final season of the original Sailor Moon anime called “Sailor Moon Sailor Stars.” The first Cosmos movie releases on June 9 while the second hits theaters on June 30.
