Diablo Immortal unlocks class change mechanics, launches features and legendary items in the latest update.
Players can change their character’s Class weekly later in the latest Diablo Immortal update. This change mechanism allows the player to freely swap to a new class in the RPG game every seven days. In its latest blog post, Blizzard explains that Diablo Immortal’s class change mechanism is unlocked when the character reaches level 35. Players can change to a new class for free when visiting Shifting Flames in Westmarch. Players can change Class once per week, the developer said they currently have no plans to sell the feature that will allow players to change Class more often. The player has a one-time option to switch back to the old Class.
During their first transition to a new Class, Blizzard says players will receive a set of placeholder gear with roughly the same rank as the gear used for their old Class. Equipment and skins specific to the old Class will not be transferred to the new Class, but the items will still be in the inventory, ready for whenever the player decides to return to the old Class. Additionally, the update introduces a new end-game activity called Hero’s Journey, which unlocks during the Frozen Tundra portion of the main quest. Hero’s Journey will launch with four chapters and two more are planned for release in the future. The update also changes the weekly clan wars to give players a chance to get an eternal legendary badge for 1,600 platinum when you complete the quest. Blizzard also released 36 new legendary items, designed to give players more options when it comes to using damage-over-time effects.
