Digimon Dreamers: Chapter 21 Summary
In the previous chapter of Digimon Dreamers, Pulsemon demonstrates the skills he has learned through intensive training by generating electric currents through his body. Pulsemon is quite proud of his skill and flaunts it. That’s mostly possible due to the thick skin on Pulsemon’s body, and Ritsuo also compares Pulsemon to an eel he doesn’t appreciate. Suddenly, Pulsemon’s head grew larger, and he lunged at Wizarmon, electrocuting him to wake him up and undo the spell Phelesmon cast on him.
Phelesmon is shocked to see his large head, and Pulsemon tells him that it was the result of a curse that fell on his village. Ritsuo asks Phelesmon to let Witchenly go and says they have to rescue Witchenly from him. Phelesmon tells them that he cannot let them capture Witchenly because he is vital to the success of his plan.
Phelesmon explains that he intends to blend in with the real world outside, but Ritsuo finds that impossible. Phelesmon can exist in the game because binary numbers do not exist in real life.
Phelesmon laughed at Ritsuo’s apprehension, asking him if he knew about particles in the real world. He told Ritsuo that beads are actually strings that can either be straight or joined at the ends.
