Production is currently underway for the project codenamed Wasted Chef
Kodoani.com – The team behind the Pompo the Cinéphile anime is getting ready for even more work, with director Takayuki Hirao reuniting everyone for a new anime project. The new project at anime studio CLAP is currently codenamed “Wasted Chef” and marks Hirao’s first time directing a completely original work.
Details of the main project are currently unclear, but the staff has been revealed:

While we await more information on the new project, Takayuki Hirao will be attending this year’s Anime Expo for a Q&A session and screening of Pompo the Cinéphile, which is also having a special screening in Japan to mark the film’s two-year anniversary.
