Kodoani.com – The January issue of Shueisha’s monthly V Jump magazine has announced the main staff for the anime series Dragon Ball Daima on Tuesday. Masako Nozawa has confirmed that she will return to voice the character Son Goku.
The main staff includes Yoshitaka Yashima (animation director of Dragon Ball Super, Digimon franchise) and Aya Komaki (One Piece series director, Marie & Gali episode director) taking on the role of series director, Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru adapted the character designs by Akira Toriyama, and Yuuko Kakihara supervised and wrote the series’ scripts. Franchise creator Akira Toriyama is credited as the story and character designer for the new anime.
In the series, Goku, Vegeta, Bulma, and other characters throughout the series become younger than usual. However, this differs from the similar plot in the Dragon Ball GT anime, in which Goku reverts back to a child after the end of the original series.
The anime is expected to air in the fall of 2024. The new installment in the series was announced at New York Comic Con on October 12, with Akira Toriyama taking a deeper part than his usual capacity in the anime. . More information will be announced during the next Dragon Ball game battle hour on January 27-28.
The Dragon Ball Super anime television series premiered from July 2015 to March 2018, with a total of 131 episodes. Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, an anime series released in June 2022 in Japan and that August in the United States, was broadcast globally through Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures.
