Manga Dragon Ball Super has released an official, limited-time trailer for Chapter 101, teasing the upcoming role of the Red Ribbon Army and continuing coverage of the Superhero film adaptation.
The official Dragon Ball website has released a “Limited Time Sneak Peek at ‘Dragon Ball Super’ Chapter 101 Storyboard!” ahead of the March issue of V Jump magazine, in which Dragon Ball Super was serialized. The magazine and full chapters will be released on January 19, 2024. The storyboards were released online on January 12, 2024, and the website warns that they will only be available for a week until 10am on January 19 (JST). Chapter 101 continues the previous chapter, representing the 100th milestone, as well as being said to be the conclusion of the film adaptation of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. Although the manga represents the final version of Toriyama’s story, fans who have seen the film feel that a year is too long to spend most of the content seen. Social media reactions were mixed to the news that Chapter 101 continued to focus on the remnants of the Red Ribbon Army and more street fighting, leaving many wanting more. However, some fans are still excited to see more of Trunks and Goten in action.
