DTCL APAC CIRCUIT Season 8 with SEA regional qualifiers will be an opportunity for Vietnamese players to assert themselves. The tournament format has also recently been announced.
Participating in the APAC CIRCUIT Season 8 SEA region, Vietnam has 24 excellent players who won this ticket after going through the domestic qualifiers. Recently, the competition format of the tieps regional round was also officially revealed by the BTC side.

The new feature of DTCL APAC CIRCUIT Season 8 SEA region is the application of the same qualifying format as Worlds instead of the old scoring format. This change is intended to maximize fairness for the participating players.
Out of 32 players in Southeast Asia, there are 24 players from Vietnam, accounting for 3/4 of the total number of players participating. This will be a great advantage for Vietnamese players to win the top positions. Besides 24 players, Vietnam will also have 5 casters and guests to accompany the tournament.
Specifically about the competition format of the APAC CIRCUIT Season 8 SEA region, 32 players will be divided into 4 groups, 8 players each. To ensure the fairness of the tournament, after 2 matches, the players will change the lobby. Each day, the players play a total of 6 matches and there will be 3 different lobby for the players to try.
After these confrontations, the organizers will arrange scores from 1 to 8 to find the top 8, thereby determining the 16 best players on day 1. 8 best players at the end of day 2. will have a chance to advance to the finals.

The final round of DTCL APAC CIRCUIT Season 8 will compete in the same Checkmate format as World Championships. Competitors will score points until they reach the number 18. The first player to reach this score will become the champion of the tournament.
In addition to the crown with a prize of $4,000, there will be the next 5 high-achieving players who will have the opportunity to attend the final round to win the Asia Cup in early March.
DTCL APAC CIRCUIT Season 8 SEA will be held at 4:00 PM on February 17, 18 and 19.
