DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate – Dual Edition contains all 3 episodes in both VR and non-VR modes
Kodoani.com – MyDearest, Inc. announced on Wednesday that they would release DYSCHRONIA: Alternate Chronos – Dual Editionn, a new version of the virtual reality (VR) game DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate that they and IzanagiGames developed for PC via Steam in 2024. This release will include all three episodes in both VR and no VR.
The first episode of the game debuted on PlayStation VR2, the new virtual reality system for PlayStation 5 and Meta Quest 2 consoles, in September 2022. The second episode debuted in December 2022. Both first episodes airs alongside PSVR2 on February 22. The third and final chapter will launch on July 13.
DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate – Definitive Edition, a non-VR version for Nintendo Switch, was released on November 22.
Shōya Chiba takes on the role of protagonist Hal Scion in the Japanese version of the game. Other cast members include Azumi Waki (Maia Ganette), Yūto Uemura (Noel Ganette), Ai Fairouz (Systelia), Yū Serizawa (Airi Clover), Yūsuke Kobayashi (Ash Shepherd), Junichi Suwabe (Keith Tozaki), Yui Ishikawa ( Elaine Cordia), Sho Hayami (Albert Rumford), and Akari Kitō (Lily). The game features both an English dub and English subtitles, with Jesse Inocalla voicing Hal Scion in the English version.

In this man-made coastal city, dreams are used to prevent crimes before they happen. The founder of this paradise was mysteriously assassinated, an event that theoretically never happened. The game’s Campfire crowdfunding campaign reached its goal of 4 million yen (about US$35,000) in four minutes when it launched in October 2021. The game takes place in the “Chronos Universe,” which is also set scenes from the company’s ALTDEUS: Beyond Chronos and TOKYO CHRONOS games.
