Our Rainy Protocol is a youth series focusing on the world of esports. The story revolves around Shun Tokinoya, a second high school student who starts working at the e-sports cafe FOX ONE after the accidental death of his father. However, one thing is clear: FOX ONE is in debt for a large amount of money. To repay his debt, Shun and his friends enter the “Xaxxerion Championship” tournament to win the tournament prize money.
The film was produced by the KITSUNE group, and directed by Yasutaka Yamamoto and Daishi Katō at animation studio Quad. Kotsukotsu is writing the main story draft, Katsuhiko Takayama (Aldnoah.Zero, The Future Diary) and Yasutaka Yamamoto are supervising the script. booota is the character designer and Kanna Hirayama is adapting that design into animation. Satoru Kousaki and MONACA are composing music for the film.
