Supreme. Although this story arc introduces many important concepts that form the core of the Dragon Ball Super story, such as the Super Saiyan God form, The plot is simply too simple compared to the movie or anime adaptation of the same story.

Several characters are shown to have grown up, including Goten and Trunks, who are now teenagers, and Pan, who is now old enough to go to school. 5 Universe 6 Saga
Dragon Ball Super chap 5 – 13
The Universe 6 Saga is the main arc of Super, introducing the concept of a multiverse to Dragon Ball for the first time. The tournament between University 6 and University 7 finally allowed the manga to introduce for the first time a new Saiyan character unrelated to Goku or Vegeta, Cabba, who would become an important player in the story arcs in future. This part is where the Super Saiyan Blue transformation first appeared, a form that would become Goku and Vegeta’s transformed form for most of Super. The plot is a bit compressed compared to the anime version, but it’s still fun with some interesting battles.
4 Prisoners patrol the Saga galaxy
Dragon Ball Super chap 42 – 67
This saga is the first original manga storyline that does not appear in the Dragon Ball Super anime in any form. It follows Goku as he teams up with the Galactic Patrol to track down an escaped prisoner, the dark wizard Moro. This section is notable because there is another type of enemy in Moro, one that specializes in magical abilities rather than martial arts, and for the first time Goku displays a never-before-seen power called Susanoo. It even gives Vegeta a chance to atone for his crimes against the Namekians, giving the story more weight.

It follows the new character of Granolah, the last living Cerealian, as he works for the Heeters, a group of planet brokers who worked with Frieza. Granolah has an interesting past tied to that of Bardock, Goku’s father, which provides some classic backstory to the ever-popular Saiyan. 1 Universal Survival Saga
Dragon Ball Super chap 27 – 42

Forming the climax of the anime adaptation, the Tournament of Power is an incredible battle to the death between opponents from across the multiverse to see whose universe will survive, so all is well. .
It saw the introduction of Jiren, one of the strongest warriors in the series’ history, as well as the female Saiyans Kale and Caulifla of Universe 6, two extremely popular characters.
