Kodoani.com – Comic author One Piece Eiichiro Oda has been experimenting with AI for the past few months. Last December, the author created an AI that drew Lucci and thought it was hilarious how the process turned a scary man into a little girl. He drew a picture of Luffy’s amazing reaction and posted it as a video on One Piece’s official YouTube channel.
Oda’s latest AI adventure goes one step further: the author asked ChatGPT to write him the next One Piece chapter.

One Piece’s Twitter account posted the entire exchange, opening with “Oda asked a taboo question.” In Oda’s first message to ChatGPT, he said that he couldn’t think of the next One Piece story, so he asked ChatGPT to write “a particularly interesting story.”
The AI is required to detail the story of the “Dark King” who kidnapped Chopper. To defeat him, Robin connects with her past “Dark Tribe”. With the help of their newly formed allies, the Straw Hats defeat the Dark King.
“What do you think of this story?” AI asked Oda. “It features a dark-manipulating villain, a mysterious race of shadow people, and new friends. Robin’s role will also be important. Readers will want to pay attention to the comments. her consciousness and actions.”
Oda then replied, “Sorry, this is boring. Could you please present a more interesting idea?”
ChatGPT then put on a story in which an alien secretly lives between the captain and the crew. The alien home planet was destroyed by an evil spaceship, and they boarded the One Piece ship to pursue the enemy. The captain and crew help the aliens in their pursuit. During their journey, they stop at an island where an evil witch lives. The witch plans to steal the alien’s Star Fragment, which is needed to restore the alien’s home planet. The captain and crew team up with the aliens to defeat the witch, then restore the alien planet.
This time, Oda seems to like the story. “Thank!” he answered. “I will write exactly that!”
