Kodoani.com – The long-awaited anime TV series, The Elusive Samurai, which is about to be released, has revealed a new image and teaser of the second character. The new visuals and trailer are notable for the appearance of Shizuku, voiced by Hinaki Yano.
Yuta Yamazaki, who worked on the Love Rice project, will take on the role of director at CloverWorks. Yasushi Nishitani, responsible for supporting character designs in Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us, will be responsible for character design. The series script and writing supervisor is Yoriko Tomita, who has experience from My Dress-Up Darling.
The Elusive Samurai tells the story of Tokiyuki, a man who witnessed his family being murdered by traitor Ashikaga Takauji. He flees and is helped by a few fellow survivors of the purge. Among them, Suwa Yorishige, an ally of the Hojo family and lord of Suwa province, was one of the important people. Yorishige is not only a strange warlord but also claims to be clairvoyant and has predicted that one day, Tokiyuki will become the ruler of Japan. However, the top priority right now is still escaping enemy territory!
The anime series is expected to premiere in 2024 and is creating excitement for the anime-loving community.
