takt op. Symphony launches on iOS, Android devices
Kodoani.com – The official YouTube channel of Bandai Namco Arts and DeNA is beat up. (pronounced “takt opus”) posted on Thursday a promotional video to announce the English version of the game, titled beat up. Symphony. The game will release on iOS and Android later this year. A beta test of the game will also take place later this month.
Bandai Namco Arts and DeNA describe the game:
takt op. Symphony is themed around classical music, with the game’s background story taking place in a world where such music has been lost. Only Musicarts can fight the Despair Dolls and save their world from destruction. Musicarts embodies legendary classical works from Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony to Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake.
The battle for hope has begun, and you must lead it! Strategy is key when aligning your forces and choosing the right moment to activate powerful skills and abilities to stop your enemies.
Memories reflect Musicarts’ life and combat experiences. In takt op. Symphony, memory is an important tool in a player’s arsenal and can be used by different Musical Arts for different effects.
The Japanese version of the game is called takt op. Unmei wa Akaki Senritsu no Machi o will release on iOS and Android at the end of June.
The game was originally scheduled to launch in 2021, but was delayed after that year.
The TV anime part of the project, titled takt op. Destiny, premiered in October 2021 and has 12 episodes.
Kino launched a manga adaptation of the anime in Kadokawa’s Comic Alive magazine in August 2022.
DeNA and Ouji Hiroi are credited with original work for the franchise. LAM is sketching the original character design. Musician Marasy is the “main pianist.” The yish artist is in charge of the background concept art. Orchestra conductor Hirofumi Kurita is noted as a music research advisor.
