The English voice behind Jujutsu Kaisen’s Gojo Satoru has stated that MAPPA animators deserve better treatment.
Famous voice actor Kaiji Tang — also known for works such as Dragon Ball Super, Berserk, Bungo Stray Dogs and The Apothecary Diaries — recently spoke out in support of workers at MAPPA, who continue to produce produced a “masterpiece despite a terrible production schedule. ” As both a professional and a fan, he called for a raise and more time for them to get it right, along with the comment “give these superb animators the rest they deserve.” The post was shared thousands of times on X (formerly Twitter) with general approval.
