A new trailer for the upcoming Resident Evil Village Gold Edition DLC shows Lady Dimitrescu, Heisenberg, and Chris Redfield battling enemies. Completing the game’s main story will unlock Mercenaries mode, an arcade mode that challenges the player to take down waves of enemies. The upcoming Resident Evil Village: Shadows of Rose DLC will add loads of new content to the survival horror experience, including three new playable mercenary characters.
Resident Evil Village Gold Edition will add new content to every part of this terrifying title. The Shadows of Rose expansion will be a continuation of the game’s main story, with players taking control of Ethan’s daughter Rose years after the main campaign. This expansion is expected to be much harder than Resident Evil Village, which is inspired by Resident Evil 4 and focuses on combat. The new third-person mode that will be used in Shadows of Rose and Gold Edition will also allow players to experience the base game in a third-person perspective instead of the usual first-person perspective. Finally, the new Mercenaries Mode content will make Lady Dimitrescu playable in Resident Evil Village alongside Chris Redfield and Karl Heisenberg.

Like a segment in Resident Evil Village’s single-player campaign, former Resident Evil alum Chris Redfield will take down enemies with assault rifles and wide-area weapons. Meanwhile, Karl Heisenberg uses his signature hammer and electricity to slay his enemies while being able to summon a Soldat Jet companion. Ultimately, Lady Dimitrescu’s breathtaking stature and razor-sharp claws make her a voluptuous and deadly figure, gaining strength and speed with each takedown. Even before the game launched last year, Lady Dimitrescu had already become a pop culture phenomenon. The vampire queen is nearly 10 meters tall and her sculptural beauty quickly attracts the attention of fans. In the game, the player encounters Lady Dimitrescu in the castle, where she pursues protagonist Ethan Winters and eventually fights in the form of a monstrous vampire dragon. The iconic villain is easily the most popular villain in Resident Evil Village, and it won’t be long before players actually take control of her in Mercenaries Mode.
Resident Evil Village offers a fresh new survival horror experience, and the title’s upcoming Gold Edition will introduce even more content for fans to explore. Adding Chris Redfield, Heisenberg, and Lady Dimitrescu to Mercenaries will greatly expand a lot of content by giving players new abilities and weapons.
