Capcom’s Exoprimal dinosaur-themed shooter just released a new trailer featuring a variety of dinosaurs that players will face.
Exoprimal is a brand new title from Capcom that pits soldiers from the future against an almost endless swarm of dinosaurs. It’s a team shooter where players take on certain roles as they battle against waves of these prehistoric creatures, with a variety of game modes. This includes a story mode, a PvPvE mode for Exoprimal called Dinosaur Survival and at least five other modes.
The biggest attraction, however, is the dinosaurs, which may be reminiscent of another Capcom series – Dino Crisis. Despite the similarities and even relatedness to Regina, the game’s protagonist, Capcom confirmed there is no connection between Exoprimal and Dino Crisis other than dinosaurs. Regardless, dinosaurs are the main threat and there are even some advanced forms known as Neosaurs. These dinosaurs were featured prominently in a recent Capcom trailer.
This trailer was shown at Capcom’s showcase during the San Diego Comic-Con event, showcasing some of the more ordinary dinosaurs and high-end Neosaurs. This includes those commonly known, such as velociraptor, petrandon, ankylosaurus and triceratops. The trailer also briefly introduces the fighting style of these dinosaurs, such as the pachycephalosaurs that rush forward to attack or rush at the player or the three dinosaurs using its giant horns. and head forward. Exoprimal also features the classic T. Rex, which can temporarily break the player’s shield.

The Sniper Neosaur can fire poisonous orbs at the player, while the Evoker Neosaur can summon even more dinosaurs. There are even fire-based variants called the Pyro Neosaur, which can shoot fireballs and create rain of fire as it flies over the battlefield.
One of the sturdier-looking creatures players will find in Exoprimal is Neo Ankylosaurus. Like its vanilla, it has a tough skin that allows for defensive play. However, it can create a magma-like shell, while also firing a variety of fireballs. Exoprimal’s Neo T. Rex is also featured in the trailer, where it appears when it tries to jump out of a portal. The trailer ends with a player wielding a whip-like weapon, which can be strapped around T. Rex’s neck, where it appears to be controlled by the player and used to attack the monsters. other long.
