The Vietnamese community of League of Legends gamers is talking about Faker who made the VCS players “lost” in Korean rank.
At VCS Spring 2022, the tournament organizers announced the sanction of 4 players including Divkid, TomRio, Jarvis and Killerqueen. In particular, the penalty of Divkid and TomRio was the main reason that led to all GAM Esports members being locked out of Korean rank accounts, with no place to practice.
In the first weeks of VCS Summer 2022, the “collapse” of the undefeated GAM in the spring led many fans to speculate that this team could not practice at Korean rank, so the performance “did go downhill”. But according to many players as well as the BLV shared, not only GAM but also all teams at VCS are not allowed to use Korean rank accounts anymore.
Accordingly, there have been a few rumors in the Vietnam region that Demon King Faker is the main reason for the VCS region to “fly acc” at Korean rank.
More specifically, the post mentioned that Doinb shared on the livestream: “A VCS account met Faker in a Korean ranked match but the two had a disagreement, so Faker reported the other player.”
In fact, Doinb is a “reputable reporter and player” for often revealing extremely accurate inside information. However, the vast majority of the news Doinb “leaked” is from the LPL region – where this player is living and playing League of Legends. So there’s nothing authentic about the LNG Esports mid laner talking about Faker’s influence on the Korean ranked account in the VCS region.
