Fate/strange Fake -Whispers of Dawn- anime special premieres at Anime Expo on Saturday
Kodoani.com – Type-Moon announced at Anime Expo on Saturday that the spin-off chapter Fate/strange Fake Ryohgo Narita will be adapted into a series anime. The staff revealed an exclusive US teaser image at the event.

The anime special Fate /strange Fake -Whispers of Dawn- held its English dub world premiere at Anime Expo on Saturday. The anime will premiere in Japan on July 2. The special is available now on Crunchyroll with an English dub.
The Fate/strange Fake -Whispers of Dawn- anime special was first announced at Aniplex Online Fest 2022 in September. Its December 31 broadcast schedule was delayed due to production issues.

Shun Enokido and Takahito Sakazume are directing the special at A-1 Pictures. Daisuke wrote the script. Yūkei Yamada is designing the characters and serving as the animation director, and Hiroyuki Sawano is composing the music. Vocal project by composer Hiroyuki Sawano SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]: Laco will contribute the song “FAKEit.”
Narita first published the Fake/states night story as an April Fool’s joke on April 1, 2008. Narita later developed the story as a Fate/strange Fake add-on to Type-Moon Ace Vol. 2, before launching an official light novel series with illustrations by Shizuki Morii in January 2015. Kadokawa’s Dengeki Bunko Publishing House published the eighth light novel volume in February. Morii is also drawing manga adaptations.
