Kodoani.com – Square Enix brought great news to the gaming community at the event The Game Awards 2024when announcing a new trailer and official information about the PC version's launch date Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Accordingly, the game will appear on Steam and Epic Games Store January 23, 2025expanding the game's reach after being exclusive on PlayStation 5 as of February 29, 2024.
The journey continues
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is the second installment in the trilogy's remake project Final Fantasy VIIcontinued Final Fantasy VII Remake. After leaving the oppressive city of Midgar, Cloud and his friends continue their challenging adventures across the planet. The game takes players into a large, vibrant open world, with lush green grasslands, rich environments to explore, and indispensable adventures on the back of Chocobos.
Square Enix also introduced a “Twin Pack” which included Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and Final Fantasy VII Rebirthfor those who want to experience the entire story seamlessly.
Previous impressions
Final Fantasy VII Remake first launched on PlayStation 4 in April 2020, bringing a fresh perspective on the classic story, with improvements to graphics, gameplay and music. Then the extended version Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Launched June 2021 on PlayStation 5 and in 2021–2022 on PC via Epic Games Store and Steam.
Rebirthwith two Blu-ray discs on PS5, received rave reviews for expanding the world and story of the original, while also introducing innovative gameplay elements.
