The country where Miss Margaret lives is Mariana. That is where there is a clear boundary between the North and the South. The South has warm weather, favorable for growing crops. The North has a poor environment but has strong military power.
At first, the two provinces seemed to cooperate well with each other. However, a large fire broke out. The fire was so big, it became history. The North was simply abandoned. The problem is what happened after that. And at the heart of that are Miss Margaret of House Justus and Mister Squall of House Lyesti.
Initially, Mister Squall shows all his love and care for Miss Margaret. He made great efforts to see her even though the situation was getting worse. But one day, he appeared and pretended to be normal just to tie up Miss Margaret and kill her.
Mister Squall told his men to throw Miss Margaret into the ocean and make sure she died. The forest witch comes to her rescue and gives her another chance at life.
Well, this is not a common case so Miss Margaret also took this opportunity to take revenge. And this story is Miss Margaret’s second life story.
We previously saw in Foam Of The Waves Chapter 8 that Jack found Mag very but without any questions he continued to give her first aid. He then told her that she would have to regularly make sure the dressing was changed again.
Jack also told Mag to continue cleaning her of pus and blood and take medicine to relieve her pain but instead Mag just found him being very noisy. She also becomes increasingly sensitive when there are many people around.
We then see that Mag can’t believe that all of this was done by the Northerners. She still believes that there must have been some misunderstanding. Mag also wonders if the Southerners started the war first.
Mag continues to treat Cardel. However, he is very scared. He didn’t seem to like the idea of being treated by someone of unknown origin. But Jack told him not to cross the line and that he had said enough.
Jack then continued to introduce Mag to Cardel. He told Cardel that she was from another village and that he would take care of her for a short time. Everyone around her seemed to want to hear her voice but couldn’t.
What to expect from the upcoming chapter?
In the upcoming chapter, Mag’s disbelief in the Northerners’ involvement in the conflict may lead her to embark on a search for the truth. Perhaps, motivated by her convictions, she began to investigate the origins of the war, challenging established narratives and questioning the motives of both Northerners and Southerners.
The next chapter may also explore Cardel’s background and the reason behind his wariness. Jack’s protective stance towards Mag may arouse the villagers’ curiosity, and as they struggle to understand her origins and identity, they may become increasingly attracted to her presence.
Fans have speculated that Mag’s interactions with Cardel could lead to further exploration of her role in the community. The clash of cultures and the challenge of acceptance can provide a rich context for character development, as alliances form and tensions increase.
