TV anime Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End announced on Tuesday that voice actor Yuichi Nakamura will join the series as Sein, a priest who uses advanced healing magic. He once dreamed of becoming an adventurer with his best friend, but gave up the idea of starting a journey due to certain circumstances. Even though he was a priest, he liked to drink, smoke and gamble. The character will appear in the 13th episode of the series which will premiere on Friday, December 1.

Studio Madhouse (A Place Beyond Than The Universe) is producing the anime with Keiichiro Saito (Bocchi the Rock!) directing, Tomohiro Suzuki (One Punch Man) writing the script, Evan Call (Violet Evergarden) composing the music and Reiko Nagasawa (takt op. Destiny) is the character designer.
Yuichi Nakamura is a famous voice actor, having voiced famous roles such as Satoru Gojo in Jujutsu Kaisen, Gray Fullbuster in Fairy Tail, Hotaro Oreki in Hyouka, Tomoya Okazaki in Clannad, Shigure Sohma in Fruits Basket, Guren Ichinose in Seraph. of the End, Bruno Bucciarati from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures Part 5, and Hawks from My Hero Academia.
