Kodoani.com – This year’s 16th issue of Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine revealed on Wednesday that the manga Freeze: Beyond Journey’s End (Sōsō no Frieren) by Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe will resume in the magazine’s next issue on March 22. The manga went on hiatus on January 18.

Yamada and Abe launched the manga in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine in April 2020. The 10th volume was published on Thursday.
The manga is adapting a television anime that will premiere this fall.
The manga has won several awards, including the New Author Award for the 25th Annual Tezuka Osamu Cultural Awards in 2021 and the 14th Manga Taisho Award in 2021. Additionally, the manga series The manga was nominated for Best Shōnen Manga for the 45th Kodansha Annual Manga Awards in 2021 and the 46th award in May 2022. The Association’s Comics and Graphic Novels Roundtable Library of America (GNCRT) has included the manga in its list of the ten best graphic novels of 2022 for adults.
