Naoki Hamaguchi, the game’s director, also appeared at the event and confirmed that Vincent Valentine will play an important role in the story, not just an optional character like in the original version of the game.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is scheduled to launch worldwide on February 29, 2024, exclusively on PlayStation 5. The game will take players on a journey across the planet after escaping the city of Midgar, bringing New adventures in a vast and vibrant world.
Square Enix is also offering a “double pack” that includes Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Final Fantasy VII Remake was released on PlayStation 4 in April 2020, and an Intergrade version with additional content launched on PlayStation 5 in June 2021 and later on PC.
