The new version of the GBA game with a new, co-op world launches on Switch on February 16
Kodoani.com – Nintendo posted an overview trailer on Thursday for the game Mario vs. Donkey Kongwhile also revealing that a demo of the game is now available.
The game will launch for Nintendo Switch on February 16. Nintendo describes the game as follows:
The competition that heated up on the Game Boy Advance system is back on the Nintendo Switch. Donkey Kong has stolen the Mini-Mario toys and Mario is determined to track him down and get them back! Use your mind and strength to overcome a series of increasingly challenging levels – and in this updated version of the game, you can even play with a friend in co-op mode. Grab the key and navigate dangerous platforms by jumping and backflipping with a handstand and leading the Mini-Mario toy to safety. Then prepare to face off against Donkey Kong!
The game will have more than 130 levels, including new levels as well as new obstacles, regular mode and co-op play mode.
The game debuted on the Game Boy Advance in 2004. It is part of a new series inspired by the original 1981 Donkey Kong video game and the 1994 Game Boy sequel of the same name. Other games in the series include Mario vs. Donkey Kong: March of the Minis for Nintendo DS and Mini Mario & Friends: Amiibo Challenge for Nintendo Wii U and 3DS.
