The Moe Game Award winning work was awarded on Steam with the manga in Ultra Jump
Kodoani.com – In an announcement on Sunday, a special event for the visual novel adventure game for adults “Qruppo Nuki-Gee Mitai na Shima ni Sunderu Hinnyū (Watashi) wa Dō Surya Ii Desuka?” (What’s a Flat-chest Like Me to Do on an Island Straight Out of a Porn Game? or Nukitashi for short) has confirmed that the anime adaptation project has been approved. A teaser promotional video carries name “Nukitashi the Animation: _______ Mitai na Shima ni Sunderu wa ______ Dō Surya Ii Desuka?” was announced, with the message “C**ming Soon.”
Shiravune, which released Nukitashi in many languages other than Japanese, describes the game as follows:
“NUKITASHI” made Qruppo a famous name in the visual novel world, with a story revolving around a group of anti-sex resistance fighters in their fight to overthrow the harsh Perversion Law on Seiran Island. With its combination of eccentricity, humor and action, NUKITASHI has attracted love and appreciation from Japanese fans. The game won Best Script and Best New Brand in the 2018 annual Moe Game Awards.
Qruppo released the game in 2018 as an adult title. Shiravune began offering the game on Windows through its Johren (18+) service and also on Steam last June. Nukitashi 2, the game’s sequel, was released in 2019 and Shiravune is expected to launch the new installment in the first quarter of this year.
Mameojitan adapted the game into a manga and published it on Beaglee’s Manga Ōkoku service in 2020. The manga then appeared in Shueisha’s Ultra Jump magazine in 2021. Shueisha published the manga’s fourth compiled book volume in November. 5 years ago.
