A Genshin Impact gamer has discovered interesting information in the story of the holy relic of the Ritual Relic that mentions two strange places in Liyue.
A Genshin Impact player pointed out that the description for a popular set of relics could hint at future expansions for the Liyue region. The game’s world consists of seven different countries spread across the Teyvat world. Each area in the game is inspired by a real-life location, and Liyue is based on Chinese culture, which is one of the reasons why it always holds the annual Haidang New Year festival to celebrate the New Year. Nguyen Dan.

So far, Genshin Impact has only introduced four of these regions: Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, and the most recently revealed land, Sumeru. Although Mondstadt and Liyue have been in the game since 2020, these two regions are still missing some parts that are expected to appear in the future.

A post by Reddit user u/LuosEsrever0 on Genshin Impact’s official Reddit sub shows an interesting detail in the description of the Credential of Praise relic fragment description. This fragment is part of the Ritual Aftermath set that can be obtained in the secret realm of the Abyss of Lava. The description mentions another Liyue harbor, Ben Di Lung, which is not on the current map of Liyue. This means that future Genshin Impact expansion of the area will most likely include another port besides Liyue Port.

Although there is still no official information on its exact location, it is suspected that it is located south of the current Liyue Port on the unexplored portion of the map facing Inazuma. Others think it could be located in the western part of the region, which means it could be connected to other countries. Recent rumors suggest that another large area, named Fontaine, will be connected to that part of Liyue.

The fact that Fontaine is called the Water Nation leads many players to believe that it will be covered by a lot of water, which explains the need for another harbor. It’s possible that HoYoverse introduces a new part of Liyue before Fontaine arrives like they did with Deep Rock and Sumeru.

Not much is known about Fontaine other than that this is the land of the Water God, the character is currently revealed as the Magic God Focalors. In fact, recent leaks have revealed that there will be two Magic Gods in this region, both based on characters from HoYoverse’s other popular game, Honkai Impact 3.
