A new Genshin Impact leak reveals a new mockup of one of the game’s most famous locations, the mysterious floating island known as Celestia.

The most recent permanent map expansion happened in Update 2.6, where Chasm’s popular mines were introduced into the game. A new Genshin Impact leak seems to reveal more information about one of the game’s most famous locations.
One of the most mysterious places of Genshin Impact definitely a floating island called Celestia. It can be seen in the sky above Teyvat, and it is rumored to be the abode of the gods. Genshin Impact stories suggest that mortals who prove themselves worthy can actually ascend to Celestia and become a god. While Celestia’s location has yet to be determined, the current map arrangement shows it to be located west of Stormterror’s Liars and northwest of Qingyun Peak. A recent leak on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit apparently revealed an early model for this floating island.
Many replies in the comments section suggested that fans shouldn’t get their hopes up as HoYoverse may be replacing the current 2D model with a new one. Currently, the floating island is represented by a single transparent image tilted slightly downwards. This is why Celestia appears almost horizontal when viewed from Stormterror’s Liars. Creating a 3D model of Celestia certainly makes sense as it would make the island more realistic when viewed from different angles.
This is especially important as recent leaks have confirmed that the newly placed Sumeru region south of Liyue means that players will be able to see the southern part of the floating island. The new Sumeru region will likely be divided into two main parts: rainforest and desert. The recent trailer only reveals the rainforest portion of the area, meaning players will most likely have the option to unlock Sumeru’s desert in future updates.
Although there is always a lot of hype whenever Celestia is mentioned in a leak, players still expect the floating island to appear at the end of the journey. Genshin Impact their. A famous civilization named Sal Vindagnyr was destroyed by Celestia by dropping the Skyfrost Nail which can be found in the famous Dragonspine region.
