Recently, Genshin Impact has released a series of introductory images for two new characters that will be released in the upcoming version 3.6. The drip marketing this time is just like the tradition of the game so far as HoYoverse will always release images of the next version’s new character before the upcoming update.
Baizhu is one of the characters that players have been waiting for a long time because he appeared in the game’s plot very early and the big events at Liyue every year have his participation. Although the Genshin Impact 3.6 beta has not officially started yet, Baizhu’s kit has been revealed by many leakers. It’s probably only a matter of time before the full information about Baizhu’s kit is released.
Kaveh, on the other hand, is a completely new character. He is a talented architect in Sumeru. Kaveh is also known to be Alhaitham’s roommate and first appears at the end of the Sumeru storyline, where the player will catch him arguing with Alhaitham. This scene also somewhat depicts the relationship between Kaveh and Alhaitham in the game.
Based on the color of the background image, both Baizhu and Kaveh will appear to be two new Grass-type characters and based on the leaker’s speculations, Baizhu will be a 5-star character while Kaveh is a 4-star character. Not much is known about Kaveh’s set yet so MGN isn’t sure if he will be a support character or will be a staple DPS of the Draft type. The weapon that Kaveh uses is rumored by many leakers to be the heavy sword.

Anyway, this is just drip marketing so it won’t be possible to know much more from these images. However, this drip marketing seems to be a bit earlier than players expected as there are still four days left until the patch update. Perhaps, HoYoverse is wanting to be more aggressive with leakers and also prevent the image from being leaked again, so Genshin Impact decided to release it first.
