A leaker has revealed the appearance of the new Lightning female character from Inazuma, although it is only fan-art, but it also shows her overall design.

The RPG hasn’t seen a single new character from the island nation since Kuki Shinobu debuted in version 2.7 this past May. The unnamed female character has been confirmed to use the Lightning element, with reports also suggesting she will debut as a four-star character. Now, the unnamed character Inazuma has been teased with some of the first information showing off her lavish design.
A new update from popular Genshin Impact leaker Tao has revealed an approximate fan blueprint for the new Lightning character. The Lightning character features elements similar to those previously rumored, sporting various hairstyles inspired by shamisen instruments. The character wears a yellow and black dress with floral designs adorning the long loose sleeves of the outfit. Tao will admit that the artwork isn’t a perfect match, citing elements like other floral decorations on the dress, but calls the design the “most similar” work to date.
While not much is known about her weapon or character’s identity in Genshin Impact, fans have begun speculating about her role. Many have likened her design and supposedly elegant demeanor to that of a performer, speculating the character could be a musician in Inazuma. Genshin Impact has featured a variety of music-related characters from troubadour Venti to more rock-focused characters like Xinyan. The mysterious Lightning character is currently slated to debut in the version 3.8 update in July.
