Experiencing many consecutive versions with the introduction of new Sumeru characters, Genshin Impact will soon release a new Rock-type character from the Land of Thunder Inazuma. According to the released information, this character will be shaped like a character from the Cat Tribe (Similar to Diona).
The addition of a new Rock-type character to Genshin Impact’s roster has been a long time coming for fans of the element. Genshin Impact hasn’t added any new Jam-type characters to the game in over a year since the release of Yun Jin in version 2.4. The last new five-star Rock-type character to be released on the update right before Yun Jin is the popular character Arataki Itto. The Rock-type currently has the second-lowest character count of Genshin Impact’s seven elements, second only to the game’s newest element, the Grass-type. Now, the leaked information is pointing to the game’s next Nham character.
Popular Genshin Impact leaker Yukizero has revealed the rarity of the unnamed Jam-type character, confirming the “cat girl” will debut as a five-star character. Little is known about the character’s name or status in Genshin Impact, but previous leaks suggest she could debut in patch 3.7.
The information also suggests that, similar to Dehya being released in version 3.5, the unnamed character may join the game’s regular banner after launch. The character is slated to become the first Rock elemental character in Genshin Impact’s regular banner.
The character isn’t the only one that got leaked ahead of the expected release date. A major Genshin Impact leak from last month revealed the arrival of ten new characters expected to join the game, with many believed to be from Fontaine. Later updates have also revealed several possible characters from regions already in the game, including a new Mondstadt character. With so many new characters revealed, Genshin Impact’s lineup will grow significantly in the upcoming updates.
