A new Genshin Impact video has revealed a new part of the map with access to the famous Khaenri’ah area. The game’s continent of Teyvat consists of seven main regions. Four of these regions, Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma and Sumeru, are now unlocked in the game.

The Kingdom of Khaenri’ah is one of the few regions in the game that is not under the control of the seven Earthly Consuls in Genshin Impact. A historical event known as the “Great Flood” took place in this area 500 years before the current timeline. The fearsome monsters created by the alchemist Rhinedottir rebelled against Celestia and invaded the rest of the world. This led to the eventual destruction of the region led by the gods of Teyvat.

The Congregation of the Abyss, one of the main antagonistic factions, belongs to this region. Its members are usually mysterious but extremely powerful Genshin Impact monsters of various elemental powers. One of the most famous NPCs named Dainsleif also belongs to this region and he has been confirmed to join the playable list in the future. He appeared in the ongoing Genshin Impact version 3.5 main quest line.
